We Bring Cancer awareness
About Eksangh

Eksangh Goals

My goal is to bring cancer awareness to women in a simple way – by helping them recognize early signs of cancer by taking certain steps, for example:

  • How & when to do breast self-examinations and what to look for,
  • 12 unusual signs that indicate breast diseases, and
  • How to promote early detection to ensure proper treatment and survival

How It Started

Cardiac Care Center – Khambhat Charity International, Inc.

It all began in February 2012 at Cardiac Care Center Khambhat, founded by four compassionate Khambhatis — Dr. Bhupendra Kapadia, Dr. Thakore Rana, Dr. Bipin Shah, and Mohanbhai Patel. Their vision was to create a state-of-the-art hospital dedicated to serving the underprivileged communities of Khambhat, where saving lives would always come before anything else.

The addition of a Siemens Mammography Machine, valued at approximately $52,000, became a major milestone for the hospital’s Radiology Department. However, it soon became clear that access alone was not enough. Due to fear, stigma, and lack of awareness surrounding breast cancer and breast screening, many women were hesitant to come forward for testing.

With the guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support of the founders, I was honored to launch the Breast Cancer Awareness Program at the center. The program was created to educate women about the importance of early detection, promote regular breast screenings, and empower women with the knowledge and confidence to take charge of their health. Through awareness camps, education sessions, and community outreach initiatives, we continue striving to break barriers and bring lifesaving healthcare and awareness to women in underserved communities.
